Course Description

Explores the importance of food and its effect on longevity from cross-cultural perspectives within long-lived populations. Analyze the changes of nutritional requirements, metabolism, importance of the microbiome, immunity and inflammation associated with aging and longevity. Addresses whole foods and various food choices that can be implemented that promotes quality of life, healthy aging and longevity.
