Course Description

Holistic approach to understanding the structure and function of the human body, incorporating Western and Eastern perspectives of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology of all the systems. Emphasis is on the fundamental understanding of clinical applications and related physiological indications and implications of massage/manual therapy associated with various integrative therapies. Understanding of science and other respective traditional medical philosophies regarding anatomy and physiology supports greater communication among multi-disciplined practitioners within this profession.
