Dual Enrollment
The Strategic Partnerships and Workforce Development Division at Skyline College leads extensive partnership work across San Mateo County and the region to develop innovative Dual Enrollment Programming for high school students. Skyline College’s Dual Enrollment Program focuses on providing high school students who may not already be college bound or who are underrepresented in higher education the opportunity to earn high school and college level credit at no financial cost to them.
The goals of the program include creating high quality engagement that develops seamless pathways from high school to community college for career technical education or preparation for transfer to four-year universities, improving high school graduation rates and assisting high school students to achieve college and career readiness.
Dual enrollment courses are currently available to students at Jefferson Union High School District, South San Francisco Unified School District, San Mateo Union High School District and Sequoia Union High School District. Stop by your high school counselor to learn more about enrolling in one of our partnership courses.
