Calworks
Skyline College provides support services to students who are receiving CalWORKs/TANF (cash assistance) benefits. Support services to eligible students include individualized counseling, career and transfer planning, priority registration, job development assistance, work study, transportation assistance, and welfare-to-work advocacy. The CalWORKs office is located in Building 2, Room 2-321B. For more information call (650) 738-4315.
CalWORKs faculty and staff have identified the following Student Learning Outcomes for the various services provided by the CalWORKs Program:
- Students will be able to develop a Student Educational Plan (SEP) that reflects the requirements for certificate, associate degrees and/or transfer.
- Students will be able to utilize tools to communicate with staff and receive program information.
