GPA (Grade Point Average)

GPA is determined by dividing the total number of grade points earned by the total number of letter graded (GPA) units attempted (See Academic Standards Policy).

• Prior to Spring 2008, non-degree applicable courses were calculated in GPA.
• Effective Spring 2008 up until Summer 2025, non-degree applicable courses are NOT calculated in GPA.
• Beginning Fall 2025, non-degree applicable courses are calculated in GPA. 

Note: Non-degree applicable courses are identified with the symbol, # next to the grade.
