Course Description

Introduces the first year student-athlete to the demands of collegiate academics, while addressing the rewards and challenges of participating in competitive intercollegiate athletics. Instruction includes organizational skills, time management, taking effective notes, preparation for tests and quizzes. Student-athletes participate in athletic planning and academic monitoring, along with California Community College Athletic Association eligibility requirements.
