Course Description

One of two courses in a one-semester program in which students learn straight razor shaving, taper cutting, and barbering foundations. Includes lab time where students will work in a clinical setting. Upon successful completion of BARB 715 and BARB 725 (a minimum of 200 hours), the student will be eligible for a Certificate of Specialization from Skyline College and will be able to apply for the written Barbering licensure examination through the California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology.
