Course Description

One of three courses in the first semester of the Barbering Program Sequence. Topics include: History and Career Opportunities, Life Skills, Health & Safety, Infection Control, and Scientific Concepts related to barbering. Students will work towards California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology minimum theory hours in subjects learned.
