The Certificate in Paralegal Studies is the right choice for students who have already completed a college degree. This program can be completed 100% online. Per ABA Guidelines, students must complete at least nine paralegal course units through synchronous video instruction which includes real time faculty-to-student and student-to-student interaction. Courses will be conducted on the College's approved learning management system and the feature dynamic, human-centric, and engaging learning experiences.
Students in our 100% online program have access to all the support services the College has to offer such as counseling, library services, tutoring, health services, accommodations for students with disabilities, financial aid, and more.
Note: Students may submit a petition to transfer to Skyline College up to six total
credits of legal specialty coursework from another regionally accredited institution
in the U.S. Coursework must have successfully been completed with a grade of "C" or
higher. Such petitions must be approved by the paralegal program or a qualified faculty
member. Also, students may submit a petition for Credit By Examination (CBE) to earn
no more than six total credits for legal specialty courses. The exam must be administered
by Skyline College. Refer to Skyline College's guidelines on Credit By Exam. In either
case, no more than six total units of legal specialty coursework may be earned through
course substitution and/or credit by exam.
