Course Description

Guides the undergraduate student in an initial study of law and legal reasoning. Covers the nature and function of rules and law, the distinctiveness of legal reasoning, and the way in which law influences and is influenced by social phenomena. Includes both criminal and civil law and serves as a general foundation for those interested in a career in law, politics, government or teaching. This is a required course for Skyline College's ABA approved Paralegal Program.
