Fundamental diagnostic testing in pulmonary function, cardiopulmonary testing, and
bronchoscopy procedures, as well as opportunities for Respiratory Care Practitioners
in various outpatient settings will be explored. Through various diagnostic testing
studies, the student will be able to identify changes in the patient’s pulmonary status
and assist the healthcare team in the outpatient setting to improve patient’s health
status and quality of life.
