Course Description

Fundamental aspects of pulmonary function testing, exercise testing, and metabolic studies, as well as opportunities for Respiratory Therapists in various outpatient settings will be explored. Through various diagnostic testing studies, the student will be able to identify changes in the patient’s pulmonary status and assist the healthcare team in the outpatient setting to improve patient’s quality of life.
