Course Description

Exploration of critical thinking and argumentative writing through the lens of political analysis. Application of reasoning and rhetorical skills to a broad range of political texts — such as speeches, legislation, journalism, and social media — with emphasis on inductive and deductive reasoning, source evaluation, identification of logical fallacies, and construction of evidence-based arguments.
