An introductory course in AI and information literacy that equips students with the core skills to navigate, evaluate, and ethically use generative AI in academic and personal contexts. Students will explore how AI systems work, recognize bias and gaps in AI outputs, craft effective prompts, and apply human oversight in research and creative processes. The course focuses on essential evaluation strategies, responsible authorship, and understanding key societal implications of AI.
