Orientation

New students complete Orientation after submitting their College application. Orientation is offered both in-person (primarily for incoming high school students) and online via Websmart student portal. The process to sign up for either orientation option is detailed on Skyline College's website. Both orientations cover important information to help students navigate college resources, policies and procedures.

Orientations also include the following content:

• How to navigate webschedule and register for classes
• Tips to be successful in college, including time management, career exploration and personal development
• Options for degrees, certificates and transfer 
• Campus resources, special programs, learning communities and student clubs
• Academic/Personal support, including tutoring, academic/personal counseling and health services 
• Other useful information that helps students reach their educational goals!
