Program Learning Outcomes

Students completing this program will be able to:

Demonstrate the skills and knowledge for crimping, punching, toning, testing and documentation of copper cables following industry standards.
Demonstrate the skill and knowledge in the design, installation, testing and documenting of fiber cables in ISP (Inside Plant Environment).
Identify and describe the operational departments within in data center/cloud environment.
Demonstrate the networking skills and knowledge in troubleshooting ISO (International Standards Organization) Layer 1 to Layer 3.

Program Overview

Provides students with education and technical skill in the design, installation, troubleshooting and documentation of copper/fiber cabling, switch vlan/trunking, basic IP routing and physical infrastructure operations in data centers/cloud environment as well as typical on premise IT rooms.
