Program Overview
The Certificate of Achievement in Ceramics helps students develop the technical skills and creative knowledge needed to start a career in ceramic arts. Courses cover a range of topics from beginning to advanced levels, including design, clay forming, surface decoration, glazing, kiln firing methods, and portfolio development. This program prepares students for roles such as studio artist, ceramics technician, or community arts instructor. It's also a strong foundation for those planning to continue toward an Associate Degree in Studio Art or transfer to a four-year program in art or design.
