Course Description

Introduction to the global economy with an emphasis on international trade, immigration, foreign direct investment, and foreign exchange markets. Analyze alternative theories of international trade. Evaluate the consequences of globalization on the standard of living. Examine the impact of currency/financial crises, regional integration, and trade barriers on economic growth.
