Course Description
Organic chemistry laboratory designed to accompany CHEM 235 by emphasizing techniques
for the synthesis, isolation, purification and identification of organic compounds.
Qualitative analysis of unknowns by preparation of derivatives and spectroscopic methods
is an integral component of the course.
