Course Description
The first semester of a three semester sequence of calculus-based physics. Designed
to give students majoring in engineering, physics or chemistry a thorough foundation
in the fundamentals of physics. Covers Newtonian mechanics including gravitation and
mechanical oscillations. The laboratory portion covers measurement and analysis of
phenomena discussed in lecture.
