Course Description

Intermediate level theory and practice in vocal ensemble performance and theatrical production, designed to prepare students to perform in a musical theater production. Activities include learning vocal technique, acting technique, and vocal music repertoire that will be utilized in performance. Subjects include the historical context of the libretto and the musical style and song structure specific to the production. Audition and culminating public performances required.
