Course Description

An introduction to elementary algebra emphasizing basic algebraic concepts. Topics will provide an introduction to symbol manipulation, and the analytical methods for solving applications problems appropriate to the introductory level. A core of mathematical topics, including: real numbers, order of operations, linear equations and graphs. A TI graphing calculator is required for the course. This course is equivalent to the first half of MATH 110 – Elementary Algebra. (Units do not count toward the Associate Degree.)
