The history of Western Philosophy from Descartes through Kant, set in the context of the religious, scientific, and political revolutions of the Modern Age. Representative philosophers include Hobbes, Spinoza, Locke, Leibniz, Berkeley, Hume, Rousseau, Kant, and others.
