Student parking permits have been suspended for the 2022-2023 academic year. Student parking fees will not be charged for: Summer 2022, Fall 2022 and Spring 2023 semesters.
All persons parking on the Skyline College campus are responsible for knowing and following the college’s parking regulations. Complete parking regulations are also available online at https://www.skylinecollege.edu/parking.
While parking in Skyline College campus parking lots, all students, staff, faculty and the general public must obey all campus, local and state regulations. Backing into parking spaces is prohibited if it results in the vehicle facing oncoming traffic or creates a hazardous condition, and violators will be cited. You must display a valid state-issued DP (Disabled Person) Placard or state-issued DP license plate to park in in spaces reserved for accessible parking, otherwise your vehicle will be subject to a citation. Day and evening students must park in student lots only, although student parking permits are waived for the 2022-2023 academic year.
Overnight parking is strictly prohibited. Violators are subject to tow.
Students may park in designated student parking lots only. Staff lots are marked with yellow parking lines and are reserved for Staff and Faculty only. All staff parking areas on the Skyline College campus are restricted to San Mateo County Community College District employees (excluding student aids, assistants or student workers while enrolled in the current semester). Vendors and contractors at the college may also park in staff parking lots with proper authorization. Please refer to the campus map for parking lot locations.
Parking spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Skyline College and the San Mateo County Community College District do not accept liability for vandalism, theft or accidents. Use of campus parking facilities is at the user’s risk. However, any such incidents should be reported to the Department of Public Safety at (650) 738-7000.
Disabled Person Parking
Disabled person parking spaces are in various lots throughout our campuses. If you are displaying a valid state-issued disabled person’s placard or have state-issued DP license plates, you are eligible to park in any valid parking space on campus without any additional virtual parking permit requirements. You must display a valid state-issued DP (Disabled Person) Placard or state-issued DP license plate, otherwise your vehicle will be subject to a citation. Information on obtaining these items is available through the California DMV website.
Parking spaces with curbs painted blue and marked with disabled person logos are reserved for those persons with a California Disabled Person placard or license plate. If all of the disabled persons parking spaces in a student lot are occupied, any vehicle with a valid Disabled Person placard may park in any available space in a staff lot.
