Program Overview

The Certificate in Medical Office Receptionist prepares students to provide front office support within a medical office. Preparation includes basic clerical tasks such as answering phones, greeting patients and visitors, and scheduling appointments in a professional and timely manner. Most medical office receptionists work in a physician's office, dentist's office, hospital or other medical facility.
