Program Overview

The Certificate of Achievement in Medical Editing pro - vides opportunity for an entry level position in the health care field. Students learn how to correct and edit reports generated by speech recognition software and/or physician dictated medical records. Medical editors are employed by medical facilities, physician's practices, hospitals, and nursing facilities.
