Course Description

This course is for the study, rehearsal, and public performance and recording of Urban Music, in particular Hip Hop-themed, original works of composition, as well as literature appropriate to the ensemble. Special emphasis is on the development of skills needed to perform at the advanced beginning level within the musical performance ensemble. Different literature will be studied each semester. Choice of instrument will be based either on student’s identified major instrument or voice.
