Course Description

Introduction to Cosmetology theory and practice including anatomy, chemistry, hazardous materials, material safety data sheets, electricity, skin histology and associated diseases specific to cosmetology. Implementing techniques and practical application of facials , hair removal, artificial nails, advanced hair cutting, styling and coloring. Other techniques and applications include relaxing, bleaching, highlighting, thermal press and curl as well as speed and accuracy involved in all the techniques implemented in this course. In addition, we will implement State Board review of the materials covered.
